I never thought that we might have customers returning again and again to our store, but we do and I'm so
happy that people like our store enough to keep coming back and seeing what's new. We do have a fast turn around of furniture and accessories so you really should program your blackberry, mark your calendar and set your clocks to come to Divine Redesign Thursdays between 10:00 and 7:00 and Fridays 10:00 to 4:00. We will be accepting donations at those times also. Today we got an old antique looking buffet and china cabinet to match, solid wood, very heavy.
The youth group I told you about sure was busy all morning and into the afternoon inside and outside our store. They pulled all the weeds, I mean all the weeds, they left no survivors. They also planted mums and painted our mailbox, dusted and vacuumed the whole store, sorted ALL of our donated clothing and put it on hangers. They even assembled a menagerie of metal poles and supports into a very useful clothes hanging unit. Some things that were left over from the previous owners were tossed down the fire escape, why you may ask, well that's just what teenage boys love to do, destroy stuff. It was all headed to the dump the dump the dump dump dump anyway. They were happy to tackle any job we asked them to. What a great group of teens.
At just about closing time we sold a dresser, and a fan and received as donations, 2 chairs, an extra large wall painting and a picnic basket. What a profitable fun day was had by all. See you all next week same day same times.
