OUR EVER CHANGING STORE

It has been busy around the store of late.  As I look back on this blog I see how long it's been since I wrote last. 

 Let me get all of you up to speed on what's been happening. First we moved our Wescosville office into the back portion of Divine Redesign on October 15th, in the rain I might add. We were thankful for the two men volunteers we had.  We stashed desks, file cabinets, chairs, and bulletin boards any where we could just to get them out of the rain, out of our way and off the carpet since they were being cleaned the next morning. Then we pleaded with a youth group to come and help us move all the furniture, which included the 500# ultrasound examination table,(or so it seemed)into their proper office so we could open the store on Thurs. without having to jump over and under furniture to get from one side to the other.  Thankfully the youth group did it in record time and with a get attitude.

 Next on the list was to move all the fall clothing from the backroom to the racks on the new side of our store while at the same time weeding out all the summer clothes. No small task I assure you.  Thankfully the pricing was already completed. I'd like to add here that we changed our pricing/labeling procedure. All the clothing is tagged with a colored plastic tab signifying the price.  We have the pricing code on the wall for your reference. 

Our next project was to convert our clothing room to an office/reading room.  We received a beautiful desk with hutch attached that we wanted to display. We also wanted an area to put all the books, this room served both purposes for us.

Our next and most anticipated project was to prepare and decorate the front part of the new side for the clothing boutique. This was so much fun for Sally and I.  The new room
is freshly painted with our signature purple and taupe walls.

Right now we only have ladies clothes with some teen clothing intermingled. All of our clothing has been sorted and only the best kept for our displays. Or future plans include opening the whole side for clothing.  Let me assure you that we get new clothing and furniture in everyday we're open so our floor displays change quite often.  We also have a variety of colorful necklaces, earrings, scarves, and shoes/boots.  All of our coats are on display including a beautiful Wilson leather car coat with belt.

We're hoping to get the two remaining rooms painted in the next two weeks so that we can open them up also.  Please be patient with us we're working as fast as we can.

We will be asking all our November customers to fill out a survey for us outlining what you like and dislike about the store and our service.  You then will receive a card offering you a 10% discount on your next purchase as our thank you.

That pretty much sums up what's been happening and why I haven't written. Come see for yourself it's an ever changing store, that's why I love my job!
