GREAT WEEKEND AT THE STORE

It sure has been a busy weekend at Divine Redesign.  The parking lot sale was a huge success.  My thanks to everyone that helped, I couldn't have done it without you. All of the unwanted items have a new home at Goodwill and all the clothing has a new home at a forthcoming fundraising event.  And finally I have a back room cleaned and ready to sort and price fall clothes.  It's that time you know, time for homemade soup, home baked bread a fire in the fireplace and warm sweaters and jeans. These last two days we have seen many new customers come through our doors complimenting on how nice and "homey" it looks.  One dear lady told me she called the Morning Call and told them how special our store was and that they should stop in and write about us in their paper.
She said she was tired of reading about all the restaurants opening in the valley and wanted them to spread the word about Divine Redesign instead.  Kudos to you dear saint.  We just have the best customers. Another lady told me, "Your prices are too low, you've got to raise them".  She even refused our 10% discount we offered this weekend.  Of course we also got some more furniture in too, a drop leaf kitchen table, a quaint antique round 2 tiered living room end table, and a floor lamp and a tiny Goebel bird just to name a few.  To be perfectly honest some things were going out the door faster then we could price them of which I'm thankful but it does make for a hectic time, a good kind of hectic however. It's getting late and I'm exhausted so I'm going to close for now hoping to see you all next week.  We have new hours for this upcoming week: Thursday 10-5pm, Friday 10-8pm, and Saturday 10-4pm come see the new things in our display window and tell me how you like them.
